This is hands-on work. You show up to a house, you assess a system that nobody has thought about in years, you run the equipment correctly, and you leave the air quality measurably better than when you arrived. At Hollis Air Duct Cleaning, we’ve been doing this since 2004 under the Garrison Partners family, and the way we run jobs is the thing that keeps good technicians here. The price is written before work starts. The truck is stocked with professional-grade tools – Rotobrush rotary brush systems, Nikro negative-air machines, filtration products from Honeywell and Aprilaire. You don’t have to upsell anyone or work around a bad process. You do the job by the book, and the company stands behind it for a full year. That’s the whole deal.
Who We’re Looking For
- Air Duct Cleaning Technician: Someone methodical and physically capable who takes pride in leaving a job site cleaner than they found it – the core of what we do.
- Dryer Vent Cleaning Technician: Detail-oriented and safety-minded, because a clogged dryer vent is a fire hazard and the person doing this work needs to know that going in.
- Duct Sealing Installer: Comfortable working in tight spaces with aerosol-based or mastic sealing systems, and precise enough to do it right the first time.
- Apprentice Technician: New to the trade, willing to learn the right way from the start, and not afraid of attic crawls or confined ductwork.
- Dispatcher / Scheduling Coordinator: Organized under pressure, good on the phone with homeowners, and capable of keeping a multi-crew day running without dropping anything.
- Customer Service Representative: A clear communicator who understands that the person calling us has probably already had a bad experience somewhere else – and who treats that call accordingly.
What We Offer
Real Training and a Clear Path Forward
We don’t hand you a truck key and figure it out. New technicians train alongside experienced crew members on real jobs, learning how to use Rotobrush and Nikro equipment correctly before they’re running a route independently. The path from apprentice to lead technician is laid out – not vague, not a maybe. We want people who want to grow in the trade, and we build toward that from day one.
Work You Can Be Proud Of
The Garrison Code covers how every Hollis job gets run: show up inside the window, price in writing, do it by the book, leave the site clean, and stand behind the work for a full year. That structure means you’re not being asked to cut corners or push unnecessary services. When a customer calls back satisfied, you know the work earned it.
Local Crew, National Backbone
Each Hollis location is independently owned and operated, so the crew you work with is local – people who know the area, the climate, the houses. But behind every location is the Garrison Partners network: professional equipment, established systems, and a brand that’s been operating since 2004. You get the feel of a local shop with the resources of something much larger.
Steady, Year-Round Demand
Air duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning aren’t seasonal in the way that some trades are. Homeowners need this work done whether it’s the hottest week of the summer or the middle of February, and the demand across our 22-state footprint stays consistent. If you want to build a sustainable trade career without chasing seasonal work, this is a reasonable place to do it.
No Experience? Read This.
If you’ve worked HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, carpet cleaning, or any kind of residential service, more transfers than you’d think. You already know how to read a house, work around homeowners, and handle tools without being told twice. That’s a real head start.
What we teach: how duct systems are laid out, how negative-air machines and rotary brush systems actually work, how to document a job with before-and-after photos, and how to talk through findings with a customer without either overselling or underselling the situation.
The first few months, you’re riding with a lead technician. You’re not thrown at a route alone. By the time you’re working independently, you’ll know the equipment, the process, and The Garrison Code well enough to run a job the right way – because that’s the only way Hollis runs them. No shortcuts built into the system.
