Franchise FAQ - Hollis Air Duct Cleaning

Every visit starts with

Whole-system duct and dryer vent check with before-and-after photos - you see exactly what came out of your vents

Worth knowing

That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.

Franchise FAQ

Hollis has been cleaning the air in homes since 2004 under the Garrison Partners family. We built a simple business around showing up, pricing in writing, and standing behind the work. These are the questions we hear most from people who want to bring that standard to their own town.

Common Questions

Do I need air duct cleaning experience to open a Hollis franchise?

No. Most of our owners come from outside the trades. What you need is the discipline to follow The Garrison Code and the willingness to learn. We train you on the equipment, the cleaning process, and the customer standards before you ever run a job on your own.

What does the total investment range look like?

Plan on a total investment that covers equipment, a vehicle, initial training, and working capital for the first months. The equipment roster includes Rotobrush rotary brush systems, Nikro negative-air machines, and filtration products from Honeywell and Aprilaire, so you are buying professional-grade tools, not hardware-store gear. We give you a written breakdown of every cost before you commit to anything.

Is financing available?

We can connect you with third-party lenders who work with franchise owners. Many candidates also use SBA-backed loans or rollover funding from retirement accounts. The specifics depend on your credit profile and what the lender offers, so we would rather put you in touch with them than guess at terms.

Do I get an exclusive territory?

Each Hollis location is an independent local business operating under The Garrison Standard, and territories are defined before you sign. We do not put two Hollis owners in the same service area competing for the same calls. Your market is yours to build, and the phones for that area ring to your business.

How long does training take?

Most new owners complete training in two to three weeks, split between classroom time and hands-on field work. You learn the cleaning process, the equipment from Rotobrush and Nikro, how to price a job in writing, and how to run the customer side of the business. You leave training able to run a job by the book the first time.

What are the ongoing fees and royalties?

We charge a royalty based on a percentage of gross revenue and a small brand fund contribution, which is standard for franchise systems. The exact figures are in the Franchise Disclosure Document. What you get for those fees is the Hollis name, the Garrison Partners support team, and the marketing systems that keep leads coming.

How long does it take to open after signing?

Most owners are running jobs within 90 to 120 days of signing. That timeline covers ordering equipment, getting your vehicle wrapped, completing training, and setting up your territory. We walk you through each step in order, so there is no guessing about what comes next.

What support do I get after opening?

You are not out there alone. The Garrison Partners team stays on call for operational questions, equipment issues, marketing help, and hiring guidance. Calls are answered by a live person 24/7, and that standard applies to franchise owners just as much as it applies to homeowners. When something is not working, you call and talk to someone who knows your name.

Who is the right person for a Hollis franchise?

The ideal owner is someone who is tired of working hard for someone else’s brand and wants to build something of their own. You do not need to be a technician. You need to care about showing up inside the window you gave, pricing in writing before work starts, and standing behind the work for a full year. If that sounds like how you already think, you will fit.

What is the next step if I am interested?

Call the number below and ask for the franchise inquiry line. We send you an information packet, walk you through the numbers, and answer every question in writing before you ever sign anything. No pressure, no countdowns, no vague promises. Just the facts, squared away.
